A Node.js CLI that edits /etc/hosts and installs a root launchd daemon. It enforces one-off sessions and recurring daily or weekly schedules, in every browser.
Blocking happens in /etc/hosts, so it works in any browser. A launchd daemon running as root checks the schedule every minute and applies or removes the block.
The config is a JSON file of domains, one-off sessions with ISO dates, and recurring daily or weekly windows with time zones. Overnight ranges such as 22:00 to 07:00 are supported.
Commands: init-config, install-daemon (needs admin), tick, status, uninstall-daemon. Installed from npm as website-blocker-macos.
