Exposes issues, merge requests, pipelines and raw REST access as MCP tools, by calling the glab CLI. Works with gitlab.com and self-hosted instances.
An AI assistant needs a standard way to reach GitLab. This server offers it as Model Context Protocol tools.
The tools list, create and manage issues, list and create merge requests, show pipelines, and call any GitLab REST endpoint. Large result sets are paginated automatically.
It reuses glab for authentication instead of implementing its own. Configuration is a GitLab host and a token. Published on npm as @weirdscience/mcp-gitlab.
